New fleet art

  • All 28 units have new front-facing vehicle art everywhere a unit appears: the dispatch panel, the Units tab, the shop and the map.
  • Drawn bigger and unframed. No more square around a tiny icon.
  • Every unit now carries a Best for: line saying what it is actually for.

Units drive like traffic

  • Units keep to their side of the road and hold a car length apart. No more stacking on top of each other.
  • They stop at corners. Code 3 responders roll through, and units on patrol or a Code 2 response pull over for them.
  • Route lines no longer trail behind responding units.
  • Patrols cruise slower, so an emergency response is visibly faster than a routine patrol.

Dispatch

  • The per-dispatch unit cap is gone. Send as many units to one call as you like.
  • Recommended units stay at the top of the list, and every row wears a colored POLICE / FIRE / EMS label.
  • Callers reply more than twice as fast after you ask a question.
  • The board sorts newest first.

The map

  • Tap a call pin to read the caller’s line. Tap an incident to see every unit on scene.
  • Tap a station to see which units are parked inside.
  • Smooth pinch-zoom on mobile, and tiles stay loaded while you pan.

Spanish, French and Russian

  • Full translations for Spanish, French and Russian.

Phones and tablets

  • New phone top bar, bigger buttons and text, named tabs on tablets, and the ON SHIFT crew roster in Chat.
  • New loading screen: full-screen key art, about 5 seconds instead of 8.
  • The WELCOME BACK card now shows on more devices.

Also

  • New players are no longer skipped past the tutorial.
  • A big idle-lag fix, and around forty smaller ones.
